After being employed for over ten years in the audio-visual industry, Michael (our founder) decided to take the plunge and branch out on his own. He quickly became annoyed at the way some customers were left with equipment in a poor state, or had zero maintenance, causing systems to fail regularly
In 2019, Michael set up MPAV to offer a higher standard of work to our partners and end-users directly, filling the gap between companies who take the money and run, and customers who don’t know where to start. With that in mind, we have decided to pull back the curtain and tell you how we came to be, and how we can best support you.
Who, What, When, Where, How and Why?
Who
Michael Freund is the Director, owner, founder, chief organ grinder at MPAV Ltd. He has been in the Audio Visual industry for over 15 years, working in both installations and live events and has gained a wide breadth of knowledge, not just of AV but also how users interact with the technology. Since then, we’ve grown the team and work with a number of trusted engineers to deliver projects.
What
We are an audio-visual systems provider to many commercial sectors including corporate, hospitality and education. MPAV Ltd specialise in meeting room technologies, helping users communicate through technology with confidence. Delivering the best in hybrid workplace technologies, We provide two types of service, both with the same high standards you should expect; certified partner services and direct to end user.
Our certified partner service allows IT companies and manufacturers to expand their offerings to their clients without expensive overheads. MPAV are the experts that they call in to support them with their AV, but we remain under their brand. Our direct to end user service provides this fantastic service, but with MPAV with you every step of the way. We take the time to listen to what our client wants, ensuring they have the best possible product, and supporting them through the life cycle of their system.
When
After working in AV for over a decade, MPAV Ltd started in 2019 to offer our services directly to end users and companies requiring meeting room tech, but without the smoke and mirrors.
Where
We are based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, our primary service area covers Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and London. Sounds like a wide area but the reality is that a lot of our clients have bases in all of these areas and we often find that we get asked to deliver our high quality services further afield. But it doesn’t stop there. We have supported, and will continue to support, our clients across the whole of the UK and into Europe. We’ve been to Edinburgh, Manchester, Cardiff, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Belgium and everywhere in-between. We aim to support our clients wherever they may be.

We are SafeContractor accredited, ensuring our H&S meets strict minimum criteria. It also speeds up the process of inductions with larger businesses. We recognise that mental health is as important as physical safety in both our engineering teams and customers on site and improve our installation practises to ensure everybody gets home safely.
Consistent and Dependable.
We provide a simple framework that we demonstrate on a day-to-day basis that our customers can rely on, whether we are with them or not. We provide clear lines of communication and will always discuss or provide options when discussing a project. We provide clear reporting and documentation to support our installations.
MPAV Ltd aim to be a single point of contact for all audio-visual installations. After a virtual or in person meeting, we design and price all projects in house, ensuring our systems are clear and easy to use. We happily discuss all aspects of the project with our clients to ensure that they have the product they need, not whatever is lying around.
We also carry out drawings, marketing, training, and systems improvements in house, making sure that we can remain the best that we can be. But we can’t do it all ourselves and we certainly cannot be an expert in all fields. That’s why we work with a trusted team of service delivery partners to ensure the very best for our clients. We don’t just use anybody, we make sure that their qualities align with ours and allow us to provide our customers with the very best service. But we make sure you can always get hold of us directly as we believe that communication is the key to successful delivery.

And finally, what about the owner? I am the father of two beautiful daughters, Maisie and Coco. In my rare time off, you will find me in the great outdoors on my bike or paddleboarding, cooking and enjoying a glass of rum. I am also a bona fide Guinness World Record holder.
